Networking Academy

> Pasadena, Los Angeles, San Francisco

As a contractor, I partnered with the Design Studio Team at First Movement, Inc. and I helped them redesign the interface of the Cisco's Network Academy microsite. The original website, had a huge decline in traffic and in user logins to the multiple networking programs in their website. The marketing and analytic teams, saw a decrease in traffic and low engagement for the last few years. They saw a decline of about 42%+- of new and regular users for about two years. Our team saw this as an opportunity to create a more strategic, engaging, user-friendly and bold design. The new microsite included multiple areas and stories related to innovation, experiences and partnership using Cisco’s Technology and Services. The new Networking Academy microsite was also designed to helped promote the Academy programs by bringing a new sign-up module for anyone who might be interested in Cisco’s technology, hardware, software and services.

The main target audience for this product are students, working professionals, educators & possible partner investors, associated to the Academy goals and objectives. After multiple rounds of revisions, the final concepts were approved by the product owners. In total, there are over 30 L1, L2, and interactive pages in total for this microsite.
